5 Elements of Agile Classrooms

An Agile Classroom is designed through the integration of 5 Elements. Each element, like Legos, can be combined in different ways to meet one’s specific goals and context. It is most powerful when used synergistically together as a complete system.

A visual learning management system.
An iterative and whole learning cycle.
A situational model to grow the capacity for collaboration. Defines the learning relationship between learners.
A situational model to grow the capacity for empowerment. Defines the learning relationship and boundaries of choice between teacher and students.
5. The Journey
A scaffolded pathway to evolve any classroom towards self-organization. It integrates all the other elements together.
